Adalynne will be a Peacock! and i need to work more on Kylina's Princess costume, it's kind of thin. :D! AND we have ONE FOLLOWER! :-D we all have to start somewhere!

it's a shirt, it's some thread.. NO.. it's a T SHIRT QUILT!!!

(excuse the mess.. 2 yr old on the loose)

so here it is... my first quilt.. and i choose a t-shirt quilt.. and i already wanna hate it!!!! MEH... lol i must love my husband or something.. silly me right? I hope he loves it.. because it's causing me alot of headache.. i get one row done a day between school, the girls, cleaning, cooking, breast feeding, and trying to potty train! WHEW!
** If anyone else decides they want to attempt one: when you google (or how ever you look it up) and you see !!!! Step 2 - Fusible Interfacing - Each shirt must be backed with non-woven fusible interfacing to prevent it from stretching. Buy enough fusible interfacing to make a 17" square for each T-shirt. Select good quality, light weigh interfacing. Fusible interfacing needs to be non-woven, glued only on one side. I'm currently using Pellon 906F.  (In response to many inquiries about interfacing, I now offer fusible interfacing for sale here:  http://www.goosetracks.com/Interfacing.html **!!!! DO THIS STEP!!! or else you'll have a heck of a time trying to sew the pieces with out them stretching.. trust me lol !!

The Quest begins

I am starting this week on our second round on diaper making... going to make up the last of the cuts i have for the small size (premie) and put them with the batch to sell. Hopefully this next round goes lots better... i have to add a little to make up for my scale being off.. STUPID PRINTER! Hubby leaves week after next for basic... i am NOT ready for this... we have friends/family staying to help ... but they're in the same boat, hubby leaving for basic and they have one little one ( and she's pregnant). So stress is HIGH in this house...
Well, i live to craft another day.
thanks for reading

a DIAPERING JOB!!!

so after a reply to a cragislist ad... i am now going to be passing on my self taught skills on how to make cloth diapers.. these are some of my own that i had made, (sadly when we began she had outgrown these they're premie sized)
this is pre finished diapers: consider me SUPER excited!!

Dressing for success? i do believe so...

so i am SUPER excited... i will be posting in the next two weeks pictures of the little red riding hood costume i am piecing together for someone, my first paid sewing project. I am making a peasant shirt - off the shoulders with a band at the bottom and ribbon in middle and a circle skirt!!! i am so excited to start... she is referring me to all of her friends and might have more work for me. Things are looking up for this crafty momma.
