so here it is... my first quilt.. and i choose a t-shirt quilt.. and i already wanna hate it!!!! MEH... lol i must love my husband or something.. silly me right? I hope he loves it.. because it's causing me alot of headache.. i get one row done a day between school, the girls, cleaning, cooking, breast feeding, and trying to potty train! WHEW!
** If anyone else decides they want to attempt one: when you google (or how ever you look it up) and you see !!!! Step 2 - Fusible Interfacing - Each shirt must be backed with non-woven fusible interfacing to prevent it from stretching. Buy enough fusible interfacing to make a 17" square for each T-shirt. Select good quality, light weigh interfacing. Fusible interfacing needs to be non-woven, glued only on one side. I'm currently using Pellon 906F. (In response to many inquiries about interfacing, I now offer fusible interfacing for sale here: http://www.goosetracks.com/Interfacing.html **!!!! DO THIS STEP!!! or else you'll have a heck of a time trying to sew the pieces with out them stretching.. trust me lol !!
